JK Rowling- ‘The Casual Vacancy’
Now that JK Rowling’s new book cover has been made readily available for the world to see, it must’ve finally dawned upon the poor love that inevitably, ‘TCV’ will be put through it’s paces come September. It’s not like I’d ever need to spell out the success of Harry Potter to anybody- and of course with such literary genius comes great responsibility for her future flock.
Personally, I’m going to give her first adult novel- ‘The Casual Vacancy’, a go. A story surrounding a country town at war wouldn’t particularly be my first choice of a steady read (say, if ‘one’ was lying on a sunbed, flicking through a book…you know the sort-) but as I can be incredibly opinionated, I want to see/read it all for myself. Book reviews are an incredibly personal affair after all.
The book is due to be released on the 27th of September, will any of you be joining me in becoming a fellow reader?
