My High St Picks- Urban Outfitters Tie Dye Rucksack
After a mission and a half of a shopping venture on Saturday (more on that matter to come!) I found a bargain so big that I had to share it with you all. And by big, I mean COLOSSAL…
So, the back story: Living up to my incredibly indecisive nature, I’d been umm-ing and ahh-ing about this rucksack for months, but on every occasion I’d put it back. Originally it was priced at a mind numbing £48, which for something which isn’t even remotely leather almost made me want to fall over- but when it went in the sale for £30 I still wasn’t too sure how much usage I’d get out of it so, with regret it went back on the shelves. Months later (and I mean and good three) I see the rucksack again but it was perching on the sale shelf as a lone ranger, awaiting a new buddy. It had no price, so the ambiguity intrigued me. Obviously I wanted a price check (curiosity not only kills the cat, but it shit’s all over my brain too-) and SHOCKINGLY my new best bag mate went down to a measly £5. Yes, £5! I don’t think I’ve ever bought anything for Urban Outfitters with a single green note, so also obviously- I was overjoyed!
I’ve also come to realise that my tie-dye pal will be perfect for the festivals I’m going to this year (Radio 1 Big Weekend, and Wireless) and Madonna in Hyde Park- my rubbish photo doesn’t clearly advertise the bag’s size but it really is BIG. Expect lots of photo’s over the summer- I’m sure it’ll be featured in many ‘Today I’m Wearing’s!
And a short sum up of my adventure: I’m going to The Ritz for afternoon tea on Tuesday (excited, me? Never…) so London was completely and utterly explored yesterday to find said dress. My wardrobe now has a new friend, but I’ll keep you hanging as to where I got it from; a photo will follow on Tuesday morning! I’ll be snapping away like crazy, so Ritz report consider yourself well and truly written!
